Job Summary
The Utah Football Graphic Design Intern will serve as the primary designer for recruiting elements within the football creative department. The intern will contribute to the overall brand identity and content strategies that promote the Utah Football program. .
Responsibilities
  • Work with Utah Football Recruiting Department to develop all graphics for recruiting.
  • Assist in the development of creative ideas and campaigns related to football recruiting.
  • Work directly as a part of the Utah Football Creative Department for the creation and planning of campaigns, concepts, and styles.
  • Create and assist with in-game content for both home and away games – including photos, videos, or graphics.
  • Work with the Utah Football Recruiting Department to assist in recruiting photoshoots.
  • Assist in the creation of Tiled presentations for recruiting.
  • Research content ideas; conceptualize original work to communicate the intent of the project.
  • Design a wide range of artistic material, e.g., social media items, posters, brochures, billboards, photo/video sets etc., using the Adobe suite.
  • Determine size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy.
  • Complete pre-press check by ensuring quality standards.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or a design-related field with 2+ years’ experience. We will also consider candidates with relevant work experience.
  • Must have a strong design acumen and work examples to be considered for this position.
  • Must be familiar with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, etc). Preferred familiarity with Adobe After Effects.
  • Applicants must demonstrate the potential ability to perform the essential functions of the job as outlined in the position description.
  • Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Some travel may be required.

Must be able to pass a background check.
Preferences
Excellent communication and organizational skills; proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, StatCrew statistical software and digital asset management programs; basic knowledge of various social media platforms (Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok) as well as website content management systems; considerable initiative, creativity, independence and love of sports.
