LOUISVILLE ATHLETICS INTERNSHIP - DIGITAL MARKETING
The Digital Marketing department drives the strategic digital efforts for Louisville Athletics, overseeing a wide range of initiatives that amplify fan engagement and support revenue growth. This includes managing email marketing campaigns, mobile app development and messaging, website advertising, paid advertising across various platforms (display, search, social media, etc.), and analytics and performance reporting. Collaborating closely with the fundraising and ticket sales & retention teams, the department designs and executes campaigns that align with the organization’s business and revenue objectives while delivering meaningful interactions with prospects and existing supporters.
Learning objectives for the Digital Marketing Intern include, but are not limited to:
- Gain experience in email marketing by learning TM1 Engage software and support email communications for specific sports marketing & ticketing initiatives.
- Learn about customer journeys and understand how to incorporate our digital tools into campaign pathways.
- Develop skills in and assist with the copy writing, editing and proof reading for emails, text messages, push notifications & website landing pages.
- Learn to pull and analyze digital marketing analytics to identify effectiveness of campaign messaging.
- Gain experience working in a collaborative setting by supporting goals across ticket sales and retention, CAF, marketing and more.
