Position Summary
This position will assist the game day operations of the Athletic Ticket Office. Specific
responsibilities include the following:
  • Selling tickets to William & Mary Athletics ticketed events (Football, Men’s and Women’s Soccer, Men’s and Women’s Basketball, Baseball) and special events, using the Paciolan ticketing system.
  • Handling Will Call/pass list ticket distribution, in accordance with William & Mary and NCAA compliance regulations.
  • Control entry into William & Mary Athletics ticketed events and special events by scanning/taking tickets, checking passes, swiping and verifying student ID’s.
Conditions of Employment
  • Work schedule includes frequent evenings and weekends.
  • Must meet physical requirements for the job.
  • Position is subject to availability of funds.
  • All hourly employees are subject to the limitations of the Virginia Manpower Control Program and total hours worked may not exceed, on average, 29 hours per week, over the course of a twelve-month period beginning May 1 each year.
  • This is a non-exempt position, which may be eligible to receive overtime in accordance with the Fair Labor Standards Act.

Required Qualifications
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Exceptional customer service & organization.
  • Understanding of Athletics facilities to best assist fans, customers, and the general public.
  • Experience cash handling or cash handling skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • General understanding of mobile/digital ticketing.
