Overview
The Rutgers Division of Intercollegiate Athletics sponsors 24 intercollegiate sports, comprised of 14 women’s and 10 men’s programs, that compete at the Division I level. The Scarlet Knights are members of the prestigious Big Ten Conference, the nation’s premier academic and athletic conference, after officially joining the league on July 1, 2014. Known as “The Birthplace of College Football, Rutgers hosted Princeton on Nov. 6, 1869 in the first intercollegiate football game, with RU earning a 6-4 victory. 
Posting Summary
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Clerical Assistant for Athletics Marketing & Communication.

Among the key duties of the position are the following:
  • Works with the Sr. Associate Athletic Director help organize the office in an efficient, effective, and organized manner with all responsibilities, daily work, and projects of the department.
  • Performs receptionist duties, basic bookkeeping for the department, working with different department accounts, and operating basic office equipment.
  • Manages and executes our charitable donations, answers emails, calls, and online submissions, while working with Athletic Compliance to ensure proper donation compliance.
  • Manages and executes tours for special guests visiting campus whether it be for meetings or conferences on campus and/or around gameday to ensure special access and treatment.
  • Works to make sure all logistics are well organized, planned, communicated and completed in a manner consistent with the intended goal of the event and the overall mission of the Athletic Department and University.
