Job Summary | The Assistant Athletic Director for Facilities and Operations (Director) will report to the Deputy Athletic Director. Responsible for the day-to-day administration of Facilities and Event Management. These responsibilities also include working with assigned staff on the planning and implementation of all game operation activities and the management of all the special events in the Athletic department venues. Individual will have oversite for the day-to-day facilities management and work requests. The person will also assist with Capital Project Management and Facilities Master Planning and will participate in developing and monitoring the facility and event management budget. This position is responsible with contract management and coordination with outside agencies providing services or equipment for Athletic and University events. This position also maintains up-to-date emergency and event related policies and procedures for the department. As the Assistant Athletic Director for Facilities and Operations, they will serve as the Athletic Department liaison to Event Services within the university. This position will also act as a liaison within other units of the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics at Morgan State University State, as well as with the Baltimore and Morgan State University communities.
