Position Summary | Reporting to the Head Coach, Water Polo, the Assistant Coach will assist in the organization, planning, coaching, instructing, and teaching at all practices and matches. This position requires frequent travel and often requires evening and weekend work. |
Essential Functions | Assists in skill instruction and student-athlete development. Evaluates, identifies, and recruits quality student-athletes within the University, Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA), and NCAA policies. Assists the head coach with administrative operations of the men’s water polo program as required. Complies with all University policies and procedures, NCAA, and CWPA rules and regulations. Commitment to attend all practices and home and away matches. Attends fundraising events upon request to support the program. |

Required Qualifications: Education and Experience | Bachelor’s Degree. Minimum of 2 years coaching or playing experience. |
Required Qualifications: Knowledge and Skills | High-level organizational skills. Demonstrated commitment and motivation to building a successful program. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Valid Driver’s License. |
Preferred Qualifications | Master’s Degree. |
Minimum Starting Salary | $75,000 |
Maximum Starting Salary | $80,000 |
Note | Salary is commensurate with qualifications, experience, and skills. |
