Basic Function | Reporting to the Director of Athletics, the Associate Athletic Director supports oversight of department operations, coordinating various administrative functions to include hiring, evaluating, and supervision of personnel; SCIAC and NCAA compliance; budget management; sport oversight; diversity, sustaining equity and inclusion initiatives; academic success; evaluating systems and procedures; representing the department on committees and at various events; and supporting a team philosophy in the department. |

Minimum Qualifications | Any combination equivalent to: bachelor’s degree and four years sport management experience. Previous experience with NCAA rules compliance, preferably on a DIII level. General intercollegiate athletic experience. |
Preferred Qualifications | Earned Master’s Degree or Doctorate Degree Collegiate level experience |
Licenses and other requirements | Valid California driver’s license CPR, First Aid and AED Certified |
Physical Abilities | Detect to understand appropriate written correspondence; operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer; communicate to exchange information in person, in writing, on the telephone and by email; stationary position for extended periods of time; move or transport light objects; position self to store and/or retrieve files |
Environment | Indoor and outdoor work environment; driving a vehicle to conduct work; subject to adverse weather conditions; subject to evening, weekend and variable working hours |
Hiring Range | $97,000-$101,500 |
