Job Summary |
ETSU Athletics is accepting applications for an Associate Director for Communications. This position is responsible to the Assistant Athletic Director for Communications for assistance with public relations and publicity for the university’s athletics program. This includes the production of ETSU Athletics and University publications, marketing engagement, event management, preparing news releases, and assisting with the management of graduate assistants, interns, and other student help. The successful candidate will create and execute social media content that generates excitement for ETSU’s sport programs, department, and university. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to the creation and execution of graphics, sports information, strategic marketing, branding, news releases, and the development of game-day publications. The position is also responsible for performing the following job duties:

Required Qualifications |
Two (2) years of experience working as in a Graduate Assistant and/or internship position in Athletics Communications/Sports information or related field can be used in lieu of one-year experience. |
