The University of Dubuque is a growing faith based University that is seeking a Graduate Assistant - in the Sport Marketing and Management Program for the 2024-2025 term, with a potential renewal for 2025-2026.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with Program Coordinator on social media marketing
• Develop a program newsletter each semester, including photos, and brief news items
• Oversee and plan special events with the Sport Management Club
• Participate in recruitment and marketing initiatives as directed and in coordination with University Relations
• Assist with program and course reviews in support of keeping the program up-to-date within the broader sport industry
• Assist with teaching duties (class material preparation, guest lecturing, exam proctoring, etc.)
• Perform other duties as assigned in support of the University and Sport Marketing and Management Program mission

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree is required and the position is conditional based on acceptance into University of Dubuque Masters' program

Requirements:

• High level of organization and attention to detail
• Utilize excellent communication skills - verbal, written, and interpersonal
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, experience with graphic design is a plus
• Strong ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple ongoing projects at a given time

All graduate tuition is waived for the student for the term in which they serve as a GA. In return for a waiver of tuition, the assistantship recipient agrees to provide service to the University equivalent to twenty (20) hours per week.
