Andrew College is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Part-Time Assistant Women’s Wrestling Coach to support the launch
of its inaugural intercollegiate Women’s Wrestling program. This is an exciting opportunity to help build a new program
from the ground up in a supportive, small-college environment.
The successful candidate will demonstrate prior experience in recruiting, athletic fundraising, alumni engagement, and
community outreach. Familiarity with NJCAA rules and a strong commitment to compliance with GCAA and Andrew
College policies are essential.
This individual should have strong interpersonal and communication skills, and a passion for mentoring and developing
student-athletes both academically and personally. A willingness to support the broader mission of the athletic department—
including duties outside of coaching—is expected and valued.
Duties and Responsibilities:
● Fulfill the mission, vision, and strategic plan of the Andrew College department of athletics as it pertains to the
Wrestling program
● Recruiting, budgeting, scheduling, promoting, training, and conditioning, skill instruction, student-athlete and staff
development, academic support, compliance, and game plan preparation and strategy
● Works with wrestling student-athletes in weight classes assigned by head coach
● Maintain high academic standards for student-athletes
● Performs recruitment of wrestling student-athletes including but not limited to identification of prospective student-
athletes (PSA), correspondence with PSAs throughout the year (emails, mailings, phone calls), PSA evaluations, PSA
contacts, official visits, recruiting services, admissions procedures, and all applicable compliance recruiting forms
and/or logs
● Assists head coach with daily communications with student-athletes

Assists head coach with community service and community engagement
Assists head coach with camps and clinics
Assists with maintaining compliance forms and/or logs
● Develop healthy department and athlete relationships
● Strong disciplined skills and consistency with communication and structure required
● Good driving record with ability to drive Andrew College vans and recruiting vehicles
● Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Coach
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
● Knowledge of intercollegiate wrestling
● Knowledge of the NJCAA Rules
● Ability to travel extensively
● Ability to deliver the same and consistent messages as the head coach about techniques, drills, plays, and attitude goals
Minimum Requirements:
Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, and two years of wrestling coaching experience. However,
consideration will be given to those candidates with an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.
Previous head or assistant collegiate level coaching experience preferred. A valid driver’s license is required.
Working Conditions:
While performing the duties of this job you may be required to lift and/or move heavy items. You will also be required to
work irregular hours, including nights and weekends.
