There is an immediate need for this position.

The Assistant Coach is responsible for supporting all duties associated with successful coaching at the college level.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills to be a positive role model and representative of the university.

Responsibilities include:

• Coach and demonstrate high level advanced technical and tactical skills for defensive line
• Recruit student athletes
• Assist at practice

Responsibilities include:

• Coach and demonstrate high level advanced technical and tactical skills for defensive line
• Recruit student athletes
• Assist at practice
• Assist with summer camps
• Video break down and analysis
• Provide academic support for players
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant professional experience
• Three years of intercollegiate or professional playing experience, or five years of high school coaching experience
• Defensive line coaching experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise coaching defensive line
• Demonstrated understanding of the West Chester University Football Program
• Demonstrated understanding of the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference
• Recruiting experience at the college level
• Summer camp experience
• Experience with video editing and breakdown
