The Assistant Coach is responsible for fulfilling all duties associated with successful coaching at the college level. 

The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills to be a positive role model and representative of the university. This position requires the ability to travel extensively on both weekdays and weekends during the competitive seasons. 

Responsibilities include: 

• Assist the head golf coach  

• Analyze and coach the fundamental skills and strategies associated with golf  

• Assist with fundraising activities

The Assistant Coach is responsible for fulfilling all duties associated with successful coaching at the college level. 

The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills to be a positive role model and representative of the university. This position requires the ability to travel extensively on both weekdays and weekends during the competitive seasons. 

Responsibilities include: 

• Assist the head golf coach  

• Analyze and coach the fundamental skills and strategies associated with golf  

• Assist with fundraising activities  

• Recruit student athletes

• Assist at practice

• Travel for recruitment and competition

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant equivalent professional experience
• Demonstrated successful golf teaching, coaching, or playing experience
• The ability to travel extensively during the competitive seasons

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous golf coaching experience, preferably at the collegiate level
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
• The ability to instruct, coach, and motivate student-athletes
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel

Special Instructions

The salary for this position is $6,875.
