The Assistant Coach is responsible for supporting all duties associated with successful coaching at the college level including designing, implementing, and monitoring sport specific strength and conditioning training programs for individual athletes and varsity teams.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills to be a positive role model and representative of the university.

Responsibilities include:

  • Design, implement, and monitor sport specific strength and conditioning programs for varsity student athletes
  • Collaborate with coaches and athletic trainers to improve team performance and reduce the risk of injury
  • Coordinate with athletic trainers to develop strength and conditioning programs to support athlete rehabilitation
