Position Description
| Advertised Job Summary |
Serve as Academic Advisor to student-athletes. Provide academic advising, planning and other support for student-athletes in other areas of course selection, registration procedures, degree requirements and career goals. Perform other duties as assigned by the Associate Athletics Director of Academics.

| Minimum Qualifications |
Master’s degree in Student Services or related field and 3 years of related experience, or bachelor’s degree and 5 years related experience.
|
| Preferred Qualifications |
Experience with academics in a college athletics environment is strongly preferred.
|
| Knowledge/Skills/Abilities |
Ability to work with a diverse student-athlete population. Communicate effectively with students, professors, peers and parents.

Advise and meet with students on academic performance, course/major selection, developing a graduation plan, time management, goal setting, career planning, learning and study strategies, test taking, note taking and other skills necessary for academic success.
