We are currently looking to fill 3-4 positions within ASSA. The position is for the Summer 2024, Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 semesters.

Responsibilities:

• Meet with assigned students weekly, assisting with academic progress monitoring and planning.
• Assist students with academic skill development.
• Assist advisors with daily tasks. Examples include: Compiling reports (study hall, grades, eligibility, class schedules, class checking report); Assist with recruiting; Monitor team study halls; Class checking
• Participate in bi-weekly trainings relevant to academic advising and learning specialist responsibilities.
• Flexible schedule; Must be able to work nights and weekends.

Minimum Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree and 0+ years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219(6).

Preferred Qualifications :

• Master's degree or pursuing a master's degree beginning Summer 2024 or Fall 2024.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task and problem solve successfully.
• 2 years of experience working with student-athletes.
• Mentoring and advising experience.
• Preference working with at-risk student-athletes.
