The Academic Advisor III, is part of the Advising Services team and is expected to assist in all advising and registration activities of Advising and Transfer Services. This adviser will serve as the athletic liaison and assume primary responsibility of regular communication to athletic department administrators/coaches and all student athletes. Primary case load (250-300 students) will include students who have been admitted on conditional standards and/or on academic probation. Develop remediation plans, collaborate with other academic support departments for identified students, and facilitate assessment of programming provided. This adviser will serve as the Hub manager and coordinate hiring, on-boarding, and continued professional development events. Must be able to travel and work a flexible schedule to include nights and weekends.
