| Position Summary |
University of Georgia, a Division I member of the Southeastern Conference is currently seeking applications for a graduate assistant to provide administrative support for the Academic Support unit 13-20 hours per week. The position is a 10-month appointment available beginning August 2024 and ending in May 2025.

| Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification in Position |
Bachelor’s degree. Acceptance into a University of Georgia graduate program. Enrolling in at least 9 graduate-level credit hours per semester.
Preferred candidates will have a strong interest in pursuing a career in Intercollegiate Athletics.
Additional preferred qualifications:
Experience in collegiate athletics academic support, higher education, teaching, or related field Experience working with academically student-athlete populations
Familiarity with NCAA rules and regulations

| Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies |
- Read and write business correspondence and to communicate proficiently with individuals within and outside the University by telephone and email.
- Work independently and handle multiple tasks.
- Have excellent written and oral communication skills, skills in organizing and coordinating meetings, and the ability to interact with individuals at all levels.
- Have computer experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, and database knowledge is also highly recommended.
