| Position Summary |
University of Georgia, a Division I member of the Southeastern Conference is currently seeking applications for the position of Academic Services Intern. The position is an 11-month appointment beginning in August 2024 and ending in May 2025.

| Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification in Position |
Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred in Education, Psychology, Sport Management, or a related field.
Additional preferred qualifications:
Experience in collegiate athletics academic support, higher education, teaching, or related field Experience working with academically at-risk student-athlete populations
Familiarity with NCAA rules and regulations

| Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies |
- Ability to read and write business correspondence and to communicate proficiently with individuals within and outside the University by telephone and email.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Skilled in organizing and coordinating meetings.
- Adept at creating and overseeing program management documents, and the ability to interact with a diverse population of student-athletes and staff.
- Computer experience in Microsoft Office, G Suite, and database knowledge is also highly recommended.
