| Position Summary |
University of Georgia, a Division I member of the Southeastern Conference is currently seeking applications for an intern to provide administrative support for the Academic Support unit approximately 29 hours per week. The position is an 11-month appointment available beginning July 2026 and ending in May 2027.

| Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification in Position |
Master’s degree or progress towards degree in Education, Higher Education, Psychology, Sport Management, or a related field. Experience in collegiate athletics academic support, higher education, teaching, or related field. Familiarity with NCAA rules and regulations.

| Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies |
Ability to read and write business correspondence and to communicate proficiently with individuals within and outside the University by telephone and email. Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks. An individual should have excellent written and oral communication skills, skills in organizing and coordinating meetings, and the ability to interact with individuals at all levels. Computer experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, and database knowledge is also highly recommended. Preferred candidates will have a strong interest in pursuing a career in Intercollegiate Athletics.
