UCF Athletics - Ticket Sales and Operations
Under the oversight of the Associate Athletics Director, Revenue and Business Strategy, this position’s primary responsibility is to maximize attendance and revenue generation for UCF Athletics through outbound (phone, Athletics events, University events, community events, appointments, etc.) sales of various ticket products (UCF season tickets, group packages, mini-packs, corporate packages, and other ticket packages), with emphasis on football, men’s/women’s basketball and baseball.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Execute sales calls and presentations to promote premium and group experience products and achieve established sales goals.
Proactively generate, solicit, and follow up on sales leads.
Entertain and nurture relationships with clients and prospects through creative means, including but not limited to networking events, in-game visits, phone calls, emails, text messages, and outside meetings.
Participation at athletic and non-athletic events including but not limited to sales tabling, referral and data collection, 50/50 raffle sales, group experience fulfillment, etc.
Anticipate, respond to, and resolve all challenges, requests, and inquiries from season ticket members and general fan base; handle difficult fans and situations in a calm and professional manner, ensuring that each fan interaction results in increased loyalty to the athletics department.
Develop relationships with current season ticket members via touchpoints such as outbound calls, emails, and face-to-face meetings, adding on single game and group tickets, renewing accounts, walking fans through how to access and manage their account online, taking payments, handling declines, and parking.
Research, develop and maintain a professional and personal outreach network to proactively seek new business opportunities.

Maintain accurate and timely records related to sales activity, appointments, and account management.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and two (2) years appropriate experience.
Appropriate graduate coursework or master’s degree may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.
Must be well-organized, thorough and accurate in planning, preparation, and processing of work-related materials and activities.
Must meet deadlines as established.
Must be cooperative and communicate effectively with a variety of people.
Requires high level of interpersonal and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Sales experience in an athletics or entertainment environment.
Experience with ticketing software (Archtics) and CRM (Dynamics).
Experience with business sales or working with large groups.
Ability to work independently without supervision, be self-directed and demonstrate initiative.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication, customer service and problem-solving skills.
Proficient computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel and Outlook).
Bilingual a plus.
Due to the nature/scope of Athletics and Athletics events, position may require work during evenings, weekends, and holidays, as well as the ability to stand / walk for extended periods of time and occasional travel.
