Division II. The men’s and women’s ice hockey teams are a member of the

Responsibilities of the Women’s Volleyball 2nd Assistant Coach include:

Assist coaches with team practices and competitions.

Assist with the planning, organization, statistical input, and implementation of team practice.

Assist with recruitment at home and on the road.

Assist with team needs assigned by the head coach or other staff members.

Organize travel plans, itineraries and meals for fall and spring team travel.

Develop relationships with local coaches and club programs.

Manage and organize equipment.

Assist with planning and implementation of summer camps and clinics.

Work effectively as a team member, embracing and fostering Bemidji State Volleyball Goals.

Required Qualifications

Minimum qualifications for this position include:

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.

Two (2) years of volleyball coaching experience.

Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively.

Evidence of a strong work ethic and high level of integrity and honesty.

Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred qualifications include:

A minimum of two (2) years of

NCAA

coaching experience is preferred.

Knowledge of

NCAA

Division II rules and regulations and the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (

NSIC

).

Demonstrated ability to recruit student-athletes.

A demonstrated commitment to the principles of diversity, equity, inclusion, and anti-racism.
