Florida College is seeking an Administrative Athletic Coordinator for the Athletics Program to support the Director of Athletics in managing all intercollegiate athletics programs at Florida College. The Administrative Athletic Coordinator oversees the various administrative functions associated with being members of the Continental Athletic Conference and the NAIA. The Administrative Athletic Coordinator helps to enhance Florida College’s reputation and brand with all audiences while furthering the college’s mission.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist the Director of Athletics in administering all national athletic association (NAIA) and conference (CAC) matters including compliance with rules, eligibility of athletes, and represent Florida College at all necessary meetings.
Collaborate with administration to plan and execute athletic scholarship programming to meet athletic recruiting and discount/net-tuition revenue goals.
Help manage the athletic department budget with guidance and approval from the Athletic Director.
Assist the Athletic Director in use of all athletic facilities in collaboration with Florida College’s facility departments.
Ensure that all details associated with the arrangements for team travel, lodging and food are executed either directly or through delegation.
Coordinate athletic insurance requirements for students including but not limited to injury claims and insurance verification.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics.

Coordination and organization skills with respect to arranging a schedule for all athletic teams, including managing tournaments.
Administrative skills are necessary for administering a budget and administering eligibility requirements.
Computer skills, including spreadsheets for budget and athletic statistics.
Verbal and written communication skills to well represent the athletics program.
Availability to work some evenings and weekends planned well in advance.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with related experience or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.
