POSITION DETAILS

 

The Administrative Coordinator will report to the Director of Athletics and Recreation.  In addition, to the CUNY Title Overview, the Administrative Coordinator will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Provide support and assistance administratively/clerically to the Director of Athletics and Recreation, and the overall athletic department.
  • Book travel plans for teams, coaches and administrators, where approved to include reconciling meal money, gas receipts, EZ Passes, etc.
  • Making meeting arrangements with administrative and coaching staffs in-person and on zoom.
  • Assist in the on and off boarding of staff, following college policies to limit delays.
  • Successfully ensure efficient and smooth day-to-day operations of the athletic offices; providing a professional environment.
  • Coordinate multiple athletic, recreation, staffing, championship and operations schedules, while managing the internal ‘master calendar’.
  • Provide the point of contact for internal and external affiliations.
  • Assist in the management of the athletic alumni database and reports, where appropriate.
  • Assist in athletic/recreation events, (ie. athletic hall of fame, athletic homecoming, athletic banquet, and etc.), where assigned.
  • Provide general administrative support to students, staff, coaches and guests.
  • Liaise with other administrative offices to handle requests and queries from other college offices (ie: Student Affairs, Registrar, Public Safety, Admissions, etc.).
