Position Description
Administrative Coordinator to Deputy Athletics Director for Internal Operations & Risk Management/Deputy Athletics Title IX Coordinator, assisting in an administrative capacity as well as planning, organizing, and administering various processes and maintaining records as needed.
Bachelor’s degree and 2 or more years of experience, which may be substituted by equivalent combination of certification, training, education, and/or experience.
Some knowledge of collegiate athletics is strongly preferred.
Requires strong organizational skills as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong computer skills, including expertise with PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and other office software programs and applications. Ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive and confidential information. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students-athletes, coaches, staff, and general public.
Job Duties
Perform various complex administrative and scheduling duties for the Deputy Athletics Director for Internal Operations & Risk Management: organize and schedule meetings and retreats, manage and maintain calendar and contacts, maintain electronic and paper files, schedule, and track travel arrangements, and facilitate and track expense reimbursements. Prepare PowerPoint presentations, agendas, handouts, and after-action reports for meetings when applicable. Urgent circumstances may require quickly adjusting priorities and schedules.

Collect emergency contact information for student-athletes and staff members that travel to competitions. Coordinate with the director of operations for each team to receive travel rosters and itineraries before teams travel to away competitions.
