Administrative Manager (HEA)

POSITION DETAILS

Reporting to the Director of Athletics, the Athletics Administrative Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial, administrative, and business operations of the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics. This role ensures sound fiscal management, accurate financial reporting, and compliance with NCAA, CUNY, and institutional policies. The Administrative Manager serves as the primary liaison with campus finance, procurement, and human resources offices, supports audits and reporting requirements, and provides operational leadership to ensure efficient and compliant athletics business operations.

The Athletics Administrative Manager duties include but are not limited to:

• Monitor the Athletics Department budget, including forecasting, expenditure tracking, reconciliation, and ensuring fiscal responsibility across all sports programs.

• Serve as the primary liaison with the college’s finance, procurement, and human resources offices on all athletics related business matters.

• In collaboration with the Athletic Director, develop, implement, and refine business processes to improve operational efficiency, internal controls, and fiscal accountability.

• Oversee athletics equipment operations, including purchasing, inventory control, vendor coordination, and distribution in compliance with institutional and NCAA guidelines.

• Ensure proper tracking, storage, and maintenance of athletics equipment for all teams and programs.
