The academic enterprise of the university is organized into our College of Art, Culture, and Scientific Inquiry; College of Education; Richards College of Business; University College; School of Communication, Film, and Media; Tanner Health System School of Nursing; Honors College; Graduate School; UWG Newnan; and our UWG Douglasville Center.
The administrative position for the Athletic Department is the first point of contact for guests, staff, faculty or students entering the facility. This position is responsible for maintaining an efficient and effective work environment for the front office. This position supports the Athletic Director; manages schedules, financial reporting functions, reviewing memos and other administrative duties. This position has purchasing responsibilities and therefore will require a credit check.
Educational Requirements
High School / GED
Required Experience
2-4 years of administrative experience in a professional setting. Excellent customer skills is required; written and verbal communication skills. This position requires a credit check due to the purchasing responsibilities.

Preferred Experience
Relative work experience in higher education and/or intercollegiate athletics.
Salary Range
$16.94 - $17.90 hourly, paid on a bi-weekly basis
KNOWLEDGE
Required experience with the Google and Microsoft Office software suites. Preferred experience with Smartsheet, financial management software (PeopleSoft), and event management software (EMS).
