Responsible for
NCAA
, Conference, University Compliance for a Division I athletic department with 21 sports, over 450 student-athletes and coaches. Direct athletic liaison with university registration, admissions, financial aid, residence life, and academic affairs and support.
Bachelor’s degree required. Experience working in compliance at the Divison 1 level.Strong interpersonal skills as well as a strong working knowledge of
NCAA
rules and regulations. Experience in a college athletic environment and the ability to work with a wide range of people. The position must have a demonstrated working knowledge of
NCAA
rules and a duty to cooperate with and furnish the
NCAA
, conference, or institution with truthful and complete information concerning involvement in, or knowledge of rules violations, as mandated by
NCAA
Bylaw 10.1. Strong communication skills , both oral and written, to communicate and educate a wine variety of campus constituents regarding compliance issues.
Masters degree. 5 plus years working in an
NCAA
Division I athletic compliance environment. The ability to understand and oversee athletic academic support as well as experience and ability to provide direct sport administration for several sports.
