ROAR
which will provide significant opportunities for students and visitors to get up and get moving. The project will bring five new buildings to campus that will greatly expand our support for physical and mental health and well-being. These new facilities will create opportunities for new varsity teams, intramurals, club sports, informal games, community activities, and much more!
The Assistant Athletic Director is a strategic position that will serve as a senior member of the athletic administrative team. The incumbent will focus on athletic compliance and the planning and development of future athletic initiatives, and they will also serve as the college’s point-person for helping student-athletes understand and meet the expectations the
NAIA
and the Heart of America conference. This individual will work closely with the Associate Athletic Director to lead a comprehensive
NAIA
compliance program which includes, but is not limited to, managing advising services to student-athletes; eligibility; playing and practice seasons; financial aid; enforcement; Name, Image, Likeness (
NIL
) policies; and all required reporting documents for the Department of Athletics. The Assistant Athletic Director will encourage a culture of compliance through education, monitoring, and enforcement of policies and procedures. Frequent evening and weekend work and some travel is required. This position is exempt with regard to
FLSA
overtime.

Bachelor’s degree; experience with computer technology, specifically Word and Excel. Must be detail oriented and have ability to manage multiple projects effectively. Previous effective supervisory experience is also required. A valid driver’s license is required.
Experience working with
NAIA
compliance legislation and master’s degree are preferred.
