Assistant Athletic Director

Assistant Athletic Director (Athletic Enrollment, Game Day Operations) Lyon College is seeking candidates for the position of Assistant Athletic Director (Athletic Enrollment and Game Day Operations). The position will interact with athletic department staff members and coaches to ensure enrollment goals and squad sizes are met using best practices. The person will work in conjunction with the athletic director and athletic staff to ensure all athletic events are properly staffed and organized. The individual will work with Compliance Staff and Director of Athletics ensuring all athletic staff members are up to date with the NCAA DIII compliance issues (rules and regulations). This person will also help with any athletics fundraising efforts throughout the year. Applicants must have experience and an understanding of recruiting student athletes at a small, liberal arts college. Three to five years of experience as a head coach in one of Lyon’s sports at NCAA DIII (preferred), DII, or DI level. A bachelor’s degree is required, master’s preferred.
