The Athletics Department at the College of Saint Benedict invites applications for a full-time (1.0 FTE), benefit-eligible positions of Assistant Athletic Director.
The Assistant Athletic Director is responsible for assisting the Director of Athletics in providing strategic direction and execution of vision for the athletic department. This individual will serve as a member of the department’s leadership team and oversee a variety of administrative tasks within the department. The Assistant Athletic Director is required to adhere to the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) Code of Ethics and to follow the rules and regulations established by the College of Saint Benedict and the National College Athletic Association (NCAA Division III).

Administrative Duties
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics and/or the College of Saint Benedict Department Compliance Officer
Coordinate with the registrar’s office on all new, transfer and continuing eligibility certifications
Administer and oversee all required student-athlete compliance forms
Manage all staff rules education including administration of annual NCAA rules test
Provide rules interpretations to key stakeholders coordinating with Conference and NCAA staff as applicable
Oversee the submission of all waivers
Monitor and oversee the Name, Image, Likeness compliance landscape
Update and maintain the compliance section of the athletic department manual and the CSB Athletics Compliance webpage on gobennies.com Athletics Budget Manager
Serve as the primary point of contact for the Athletic Department with the CSB business office
Organize monthly credit card statements
Oversee auxiliary and camp finances
Manage the game management, concessions and rental financials and transactions for the athletic department
Work with the Director of Athletics to assist with the development, planning and execution of annual budgets, capital equipment and improvement requests.
Update and maintain the business office section of the athletic department manual Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) Advisor
Oversee and provide leadership and for the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee
Oversee the selection of committee members and officers
Assist officers with the organization and running of regular meetings
Provide guidance and leadership for a variety of student events (ex. Special Olympics events)
Understanding of the higher education/college/university environment Physical Requirements:
Ability to tolerate varying noise levels and temperature fluctuations
Ability to stand for long periods of time when managing athletic events Travel Requirements:
Occasional travel between the campuses of College of Saint Benedict and Saint John’s University
Travel with teams for post-season competition as assigned
Occasional travel to Twin Cities area for MIAC meetings
