This position will be responsible for the overall direction of the creative services area to oversee and manage post-video production functions for the department. The employee will play a significant role in external initiatives while supervising and managing digital and creative content for the department.

Ability to lead staff within Creative Services department, but make an impact and help assist in policy and implementation of all externally focused initiatives.
Act as the Creative Director/Producer for all digital content/post-production for the athletics department.
Work as primary liaison for the football team, responsible for creating and shooting video content for all home and away games, including oversight of the video travel team.
Supervise a staff of full-time employees, graduate assistants, and student workers to oversee the completion of all post-production content for the athletics department, while serving as a contact for other sports as needed.
Oversee social media presence and content generation determined with all coaching staff through the use of a content calendar and work schedule, ensuring social media outlets are properly covered, to tell the story of the athletics department and student-athletes.
Work with external affairs staff to help produce ‘hype’ style videos, intro videos, and all forms of digital content and branding.
Manage relationships with Bronco Sports Properties to integrate sponsor elements within Bronco Athletics social media platforms, and act as Director/Producer for school’s athletic sports documentary-style shows.
Supervise production setups for ‘specialty shoots’ with proper lighting techniques for the purpose of hype/intro videos.
Create video initiatives that assist in recruiting fans and players to follow any and all athletic social media content that is produced.
Act as the primary contact for national broadcast partners for footage acquirement to promote the department and university.
Direct team in archiving of cinematic footage through proper labeling.
Manage post-production budget and be responsible for the purchasing and maintenance of post-production equipment to help elevate the brand and reputation of Boise State Athletics and remain on the cutting edge of digital content creation.
Organize, supervise, and staff home games with post-production video for all home and away Varsity athletic events/competitions.
Have a knowledge and understanding of all NCAA and conference rules and regulations regarding compliance issues and film trade.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge of various post-production shooting and editing techniques, including extensive knowledge in cinematic/DSLR cameras, Adobe Creative Suite, Lighting, and other industry-standard post-production equipment.
Knowledge of computer/server components, both internal and external, and how they work in a controlled network setting.
Strong knowledge of every aspect of post-production and content generation, including roles and responsibilities of the External Department as a whole.
Knowledge of content calendar creation, and ability to keep up with social media trends.
General knowledge of live broadcasting and a willingness to assist the live-production staff.
Ability to lead large groups of people on large-scale projects
Ability to work with departments across campus, including the President’s office.
People skills to organize a staff and develop a work schedule for them.
Bachelor’s Degree
5 years of professional experience or equivalent relevant experience, including 1+ years managerial experience
Five (5)+ years of experience in all aspects of creative video editing production
Three (3) + years of proven ability to lead large groups of people on large-scale projects.
