Assistant Athletic Director for Facilities and Operations

Reports to: Deputy Director of Athletics

Job Status: Exempt

Position Summary:

Responsible for oversight of athletic department events and operations within a Christian university setting. Responsible for maintaining and overseeing improvements to the Houston Christian University athletic facilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manages the upkeep and maintenance of all athletic facilities in conjunction with University Maintenance and any outside contractors employed by the university
  • Assist in the planning and construction of all new athletic facility upgrades
  • Oversee staffing and management of all athletic events
  • Update University calendar as necessary with athletic events and attend University Events meetings on a regular basis.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned
