The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor seeks qualified Christian employees for this position.
Responsibilities: Implements and evaluates the game management activities for the university’s athletic programs. Manages scheduling and setup of events, official and visiting team coordination and pre-game, half time and post-game promotions / announcements / music. Manages athletic event ticket sales. Coordinates and liaisons with appropriate departments, coaching staff and university administrators. Assures compliance with NCAA and other applicable regulations. Provides support and assistance for Sports Information Director, coaching staff, and other athletics programs as required.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Must be an active and committed Christian who will support the University’s mission and who will be an active participant in their local church.
2. A Bachelor’s degree is required.
3. Experience in game management at the collegiate level is preferred.
4. Basic competency in Microsoft Office for Windows applications (word processing, database, spreadsheet, e-mail, presentation graphics, etc.) is required.
5. Proficiency in general office equipment operation is required.
6. Must possess exceptional time management and detail-orientation skills.
7. Must possess a valid Texas driver’s license and be insurable by UMHB auto insurance carrier.
8. Must agree to the University's Employee Statement of Understanding.
