The Missouri S&T Athletic Department, a 17-sport NCAA Division II intercollegiate program competing in the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC), is seeking a rising professional to join the Athletic Department and the athletic administrative leadership team as an Assistant Athletic Director for NCAA Compliance.
Apply NowThe selected candidate will be highly organized and driven with exceptional multi-tasking and communication skills. Experience with managing people and providing leadership on various projects with attention to detail are required. This person will report to the Director of Athletics and will serve as the primary contact for all NCAA compliance related matters. The individual will serve on various committees and represent the University at conference and national meetings.Time management and interpersonal skills are essential as the successful candidate will be asked to regularly work alongside other members in the department and on-campus, as well as effectively lead a culture of compliance and integrity within the department. The person must be able to compile data, prepare, write, and review reports and be proficient with NCAA CAi and compliance software programs.
The successful candidate will be a key contributor to the overall success of the department and will be given additional duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics. This may include long and short-term tasks or responsibilities to provide professional growth with real-life experience. Examples include but are not limited to, scheduling facility maintenance and repairs, building corporate club sponsorships, assisting with game day planning and fan engagement initiatives, or being delegated to oversee new initiatives, not yet developed, on an ad hoc basis. The individual will serve as a game administrator for selected home athletic events including all home football games.
It is essential the successful candidate has a strong work ethic, is able to collaborate with a diverse group of individuals and has a team first mentality. He or she will serve as a role model of professionalism for colleagues and students and commit to ongoing professional development and lifelong learning.

A Bachelor's degree in related/ relevant area or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 3 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary
The anticipated hiring range for this position will be $52,000-$58,000 annually.
Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the individual’s particular combination of education, skills, and experience, as well as organizational requirements.
