Job Summary:

The Athletics Department at SUNY Brockport is accepting applications for the full-time 12-month position of Assistant Athletic Director for Sports Performance. The Assistant Athletic Director for Sports Performance will be responsible for overseeing the athletic training staff and ensuring the health and safety of all student-athletes competing in varsity sports at Brockport. This position will also be a part of the athletic department’s administrative team. This position will report directly to the Director of Athletics and work with the other Certified Athletic Trainers, team doctor(s), the Athletic Training Education Program (ATEP), coaches, student-athletes, as well as campus agencies like the Health Center and Counseling Center and the Disability Resource Center to provide a quality sports medicine component in the Department of Athletics.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree by time of appointment from a college or university accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or an internationally recognized college or university.

NATA Certification required.

New York State Certification eligible.
