This position will develop and implement marketing, promotional activities, digital and social strategies, and ticket sales plans for football, men’s and women’s basketball, baseball, and men’s and women’s soccer. Additionally, the candidate will have oversight of the dance and cheer programs, hold a leadership role within athletics external team, and will be heavily involved in department

The work schedule for this position requires additional hours beyond the typical work week, to include evening and weekend work, and/or overnight travel to sporting events.
This is a restricted position subject to availability of funding.

Faculty or Staff: 12 month
Bachelor’s degree or comparable education, training, and/or experience.
Experience in athletics promotion at either the professional sports or collegiate level.
Significant experience with developing advertising plans and/or promotional plans.
Accounting and/or budget management skills or experience.
Competency with database management and word processing software specifically Microsoft Word, and Excel.
Demonstrated excellent customer service and communication skills.
Bachelor’s degree or Masters degree in Sports Management, Business, Marketing or directly related areas.
Experience with scheduling and PR appearances.
Experience working with graphic design.
Previous supervisory experience.
