The Assistant Athletic Director for Creative Strategy will serve as the lead of
UNF
Athletics’ creative content and digital strategy. The Assistant AD for Creative Strategy will serve as a key member of the external operations team providing creative content in the areas of video production, photography, and graphic design. This role will provide strategy for
UNF
Athletics social media platforms and analyze data and metrics. This role will serve as a voice for the department’s brand and will support and enhance the mission of University of North Florida Athletic Department through creative and strategic messaging. Responsible for the supervision and training of select graduate assistant(s), interns, and part-time employees.

The Assistant AD for Creative Strategy is the primary creator of UNF Athletics’ creative content, including use for digital and game production. This role will shoot and edit video including games/events, videos for digital content, video board content, promotional content, and select special projects. Additionally, this role will shoot photography during games and special events as assigned. | | Percentage Of Time | 70 |

This role will work in conjunction with athletics external operations department, including communications and marketing, in managing all UNF Athletics social media platforms. This position requires either (a) Master’s degree from an acceptable accredited institution in a directly related area of specialization and two years of experience directly related to the job functions; (b) Bachelor’s degree from an acceptable accredited institution in a directly related area of specialization and four years of experience directly related to the job functions; or (c ) 8 years of direct experience.

This position requires a background check. In conjunction with the University’s policy, this position may also require a credit check.
The holder of this position is responsible for any NCAA and ASUN Conference bylaws and guidelines that a member of the UNF Athletic Compliance Department provides in addition to all UNF regulations. The individual must also assure that NCAA, Conference and UNF regulations are followed to the best of their knowledge and any violations thereof are reported to UNF Athletic Compliance.
This position has been designated as a Campus Security Authority (CSA). This position has been designated as a CSA because it involves significant responsibility for student and campus activities and/or responsibility for campus security. As such, any person in this position must report to the University Police Department a crime or an incident that might be a crime that he/she becomes aware of. This position has a reporting requirement because the University believes that responsibility for students, campus activities and/or campus security will make the holder of this position someone members of the University community will see as an authority figure and someone to whom they can seek help. A CSA is not expected to investigate or determine whether a criminal incident actually took place. A CSA’s responsibility is a duty to report. All positions designated as CSAs are required to complete an online or in-person training session. The holder of this position is designated as a “Responsible Employee” pursuant to their role under Title IX.
