Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and two to three years of fundraising or related experience.

Master’s degree from an accredited college or university and experience in major gift fundraising and donor relations.

| Essential Duties and Responsibilities |
The position is responsible for carrying a major gift portfolio and raising funds for capital projects. Along with donor cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship – the Assistant Athletic Director of Development will demonstrate a proven history of significant fundraising activity, relationship building, and ability to close significant major gifts.
The position will be responsible for:
Represents the Appalachian State University Foundation, Inc. and the University at key development and alumni events and fundraising or donor engagement opportunities
