| Job Summary |
We are currently seeking skilled and team-oriented applicants for the following position: Assistant Athletic Director – Special Projects and Administration. Reporting to the Senior Associate Athletic Director/CFO, the position is responsible for the overall coordination and administration of special projects. The position will serve as the leader of activities development, events, and special projects efforts for Eastern Washington University’s Department of Athletics.

The salary for this position is $47,063 – $50,000, where the hired candidate will begin within this range is dependent on education, experience, and skills.

| Required Qualifications |
- Bachelor’s Degree in sports management, business administration, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in intercollegiate athletics or commensurate experience.
- Effective organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with people in a fast-paced and potentially hectic environment.
- Must have a thorough understanding of special demands of the athletic environment with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with student-athletes, coaches, athletic department staff, boosters, University administration, faculty and surrounding community.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- Ability to compile, prepare, write and review reports.
- Capacity to analyze, comprehend and provide appropriate solutions to problems and courses of action.
- Solid computer skills.
- Demonstrated ability to apply a responsive and flexible approach that is supportive of the needs including universal access of our students, faculty, staff and the public.
