Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:
Administrative Duties:

• Organize the teams helping teams’ program a
• Assist with scheduling and provide support at all our home competitions.
• Liaison between Athletics and Residential Life, collaborating on move in and move out dates for the fall and spring semesters and winter break. 
• Oversee the SAAC (Student Athlete Advisory Committee) program.
• Handle the game contracts of all 10 teams, making sure all dates/times of competition are correct.

• Other duties as assigned by the Assistant VP of Athletics. Coaching Responsibilities:

• Development and implementation of practice plans 

• Recruit student athletes for the women’s soccer team according to NCAA policies and departmental philosophies. 

• Monitor the academic progress of the women’s soccer student athletes. 

• Coordinate and oversee pre-season conditioning and weight training progra

• Schedule fall and spring contests

• Develop and administer the women’s soccer budget. 

• Coordinate team travel.

• Represent the department and the institution at internal and external events.

• Hire and oversee assistant coaches. 

• Maintain knowledge of all applicable NCAA, Conference, and institutional rules that impact the women’s soccer program

Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience:

• Knowledge of the fundamental skills of soccer

• Excellent communication skills  ** Education Requirements:**

• Bachelor's degree required  ** Physical/Other Requirements: **

• Must be able to push, pull, move or lift up to 50 lbs.

• Must be able to meet all general health requirements for the position as per university policies Compensation offered will be commensurate with the educational background and work experience of the individual.???
