Department Information
The Georgia Tech Athletic Associate (GTAA) sponsors varsity intercollegiate athletics competition in 17 NCAA Division I sports for the Georgia Institute of Technology. We are a proud member of the Atlantic Coast Conference. Steeped in history and success while embracing strategic innovation, our programs compete at the highest level and strive for national championships. Tech fans are passionate about their support of their beloved Yellow Jackets and cherish the many traditions involved with the program.

Provide strategic leadership, direction and operations management for video and broadcast services across Georgia Tech Athletics, strengthening brand identity and community engagement. Responsible for setting employee goals, assessing employee performance and providing feedback, and making pay recommendations. This position will interact on a regular basis with: operations staff, coaching staff, campus and external partners.This position typically will advise and counsel: video operations staff, sports program staff, campus and external partners. Job Duty 1 -
Provide strategic leadership across GT Athletics for video and broadcast services, including all services, systems, and production for all channels such as in-house and ACC Network.
Job Duty 2 -
Manage and actively participate in the creation and execution of all video, audio and LED content to support each sport program and GT Athletics as a whole, including but not limited to highlight footage of all sports and motivational or brand related videos. Advise and collaborate with Assistant Athletic Director, Video Operations and sport program video staff.
Job Duty 3 -
Oversee video production of live GT Athletics home competitions and events. Manage all aspects of live broadcast staffing and production for network telecasts and live streaming. Manage all live video board production at GT Athletics competitions and special events, as well as Institute and third-party events in Athletics facilities.
Job Duty 4 -
In conjunction with Director of Video Operations, communications, marketing and IMG, produce weekly coaches shows for football and mens basketball.
Job Duty 5 -
Develop and maintain positive and productive relationships with key internal and external constituents. Partner with Marketing and IMG Sports regarding advertising and fulfillment obligations. Liaison with outside broadcasters as needed for GT Athletics events.
Job Duty 6 -
Represent GT Athletics with efforts and initiatives involving operational and business partners, including various Institute departments, external partners, and with intercollegiate athletics organizations such as the NCAA and ACC.
