To provide athletic training services to University of Maine student-athletes and assist in the operation of the sports medicine center. Typical hiring range for this position is $42,745 to $43,278.86 commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Qualifications:
Required:

• Bachelor’s Degree required; master’s preferred.
• Must meet State of Maine AT licensure standards.
• NATA Certified.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
• Computer proficiency required.
• Previous experience using independent judgment and managing and imparting confidential information required.
• Ability to lift loads up to 30 pounds required. 
• Ability to travel, normally requiring a valid driver’s license.
• 2 years as a collegiate athletic trainer preferred, preferably at NCAA Division I level. Graduate assistantships and internships will be acceptable years of experience.
