EDUCATION:
EXPERIENCE: - Previous experience in an athletic training role, preferably at the collegiate level - Experience in a clinical setting and as a preceptor is highly desirable
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: - BOC Certification - Ohio State Licensure eligible - Healthcare CPR Certified
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Must demonstrate excellent verbal and written English skills including grammar.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Must be competent in general math.
TECHNICAL SKILLS: - Strong foundation in evidence-based athletic training practices. - Expertise in injury evaluation and rehabilitation techniques. - Excellent documentation and record-keeping skills. - Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. - Proficiency in using electronic medical records and athletic training software.
REASONING ABILITY** :** Must possess excellent attention to details; must be a team player and interact collegially with co-workers and other constituencies. Must possess excellent customer service skills. Must possess strong organizational skills. Ability to exercise initiative and independent judgment in unusual or new situations. Must be able to work independently and must retain confidential information.

Duties are performed primarily in an environmentally controlled athletic facility setting; exposure to noise is common during athletic events. Coverage of events may also include exposure to various weather conditions outside. Ability to work in various environmental conditions.
