The Assistant Athletic Trainer position is a full-time, 10.5-month position responsible to the Head Athletic Trainer. This individual must possess proven ability contributing to an athletic training program and maintaining a high degree of academic and athletic excellence within the program.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervision of multiple student trainers
Work Environment: Regular work required outside of normal business hours

Travel Required: Yes - Moderate
If travel is required, candidate must have and maintain a current valid Texas driver’s license and an acceptable driving record
Required Education
Required Experience - Experience on the post-secondary level
Required Credentials/Licensures - Athletic Trainer Certification
Additional Job Specific Requirements - Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of skills, techniques, and strategies of athletic training - Successful athletic training experience at the secondary and /or college level
