Job Summary:
The Assistant Athletic Trainer, under the direction of the Director of Athletic Training, isresponsible for the daily athletic training needs of assigned intercollegiate athletic teams as wellas overall care and maintenance of the athletic training facilities. This person must provide exceptional personal care for the student-athletes and sport programs, as assigned to them,with regards to safety, injury prevention, rehabilitation, healthy eating and living and healthinsurance matters. Performs other duties as assigned.
Essential Functions of Position:
Required Education & Experience:
Master’s degree in Athletic Training or related field/concentration. Aminimum of one (1) year of directly related experience as a certified
athletic trainer. Possess state athletic training licensure, in goodstanding, in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, or eligible topursue upon being hired; Certified by the National Athletic Trainers’Association Board of Certification (NATABOC). Demonstratedexperience working with spreadsheets and relevant databases. Anequivalent combination of education and experience may beconsidered.
