Job Description:
The Assistant Athletic Trainer at the University of Albany will provide the Department of Athletics with the administrative management necessary for the successful operation of a Division I athletics training and healthcare delivery system for over 450 student-athletes. The Assistant Athletic Trainer is responsible for assisting the Head Athletic Trainer with the day-to-day operations of the athletic training room and will be assigned to provide athletic training services for one sport, or a Fall and a Spring sport, and will be responsible for daily practice and game athletic training coverage, team travel, coordinating all treatments, and physician referrals.
Primary Responsibilities:
The responsibilities and duties for this position require long hours and varying schedules, including holidays, weekends, and evenings, moderate to extensive travel, and light to moderate lifting.
