Assistant Athletic Trainer (2 positions available), USC Aiken Athletics
The University of South Carolina Aiken sponsors 10 Division II sports and is a member in the National Collegiate Athletic Association and Peach Belt Conference. The University has an enrollment of approximately 3,900 students. The Assistant Athletic Trainer works under the supervision of the Assistant Athletic Director for Sports Medicine to aid in the day-to-day operations and provide care to student-athletes at the University of South Carolina Aiken. The Assistant Athletic Trainer will be responsible for the prevention, examination, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of emergent, acute or chronic injuries and medical conditions. This is a full-time, 10.5 month position (August 1 – June 15). All candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree, have a valid driver’s license with good driving record and be certified by the National Athletic Trainers Association Board of Certification (NATABOC), and be First Aid/CPR certified. Preferred qualifications: Experience working in Sports in Sports Medicine at the collegiate level; Master’s degree; CSCS. Salary is commensurate with education and experience.
