Reinhardt University is seeking a qualified candidate for the full-time position of Assistant Athletic Trainer.

The Assistant Athletic Trainer will be responsible for their own sports and assisting the Assistant Athletic Director for Sports Medicine with all phases of the daily operations in the Athletic Training facilities and services needed to cover the varsity sport teams. The full-time position includes full medical, dental and vision benefits package. Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide medical care to athletes with assigned sport.
• Assist with daily operations of the athletic training room.
• Practice and event coverage related to assigned team (some travel required)
• Record keeping and documentation of injuries, treatments, and rehab.
• Communication with student-athletes, coaches, and administrators within appropriate medical/legal requirements
• Referral to team physicians and collaboration with network of referral specialists
• Perform duties as assigned and commensurate with the normal activities related to athletic training service.

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate from a CAATE-accredited professional program.
• BOC Certification and Georgia Licensure eligible by ASAP
• Excellent communication skills are necessary.
