This is a 10 month, full time contract.

Job Description:
• Cover assigned sports, including practices and contests.
• Provide Athletic Training Room coverage as assigned.
• Work with the Head Athletic Trainer for football coverage, including travel with the team
• Communicate regularly with coaches of assigned sports on the status of athletes—injury
evaluation, medical appointments, rehabilitation plan, and return to practice and competition.
• Monitor concussion protocol, help establish a concussion baseline for each athlete, and monitor
concussed athletes.
• Report all athletic training services through documentation with proper companies; includes,

but is not limited to ensuring all
student-athletes check-in upon entering the training room and entering services rendered into
the designated program within 48 hours of date of service.
• Help maintain organized and clean athletic training facilities.
• Coordinate athletic training services with other Athletic Trainers.
• Assist Head Athletic Trainer in any other expected responsibilities.
• Maintain Kansas state licensure and BOC certification.
• Maintain NATA membership and adhere to the Membership Standards, including following
policies and procedures and code of ethics.
• Model professionalism.
Qualifications:
• B.A. or B.S. Degree in athletic training or related field.
• BOC certified and licensed in, or be able to obtain a license, in the state of Kansas
