ASSISTANT ATHLETIC TRAINER-(T217816)

Description

To be responsible for the healthcare of athletic teams and serve as the athletic trainer for an assigned sport. To evaluate and treat athletic injuries and illnesses including rehabilitation. To supervise athletic training at an athletic practice and competition. To serve as a liaison with the Sports Medicine Care Team for a particular sport. To maintain all medical documentation relating to the assigned sport. Performs other duties as needed. To adhere to all institution, conference and National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) rules and regulations. To report all known NCAA violations in accordance with institutional, conference and NCAA policies and guidelines.

Salary Range $35,570 - $57,800

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field and one (1) year of related experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement. Currently certified as an Athletic Trainer by the Board of Certification (BOC). Must obtain licensure for Athletic Training by the State of Alabama upon hire.
